Lunick Bourgess is a music executive with over 10 years of experience in the music business. Lunick fell in love with music during his childhood in and started his career
as an artist whilst being a teenager, releasing a string of mixtapes and E.Ps. Lunick launched his own independent label while at university. He then joined Virgin EMI as an A&R scout and was quickly promoted to A&R manager. Lunick has signed a host of talent including multi-platinum selling artists such as Tion Wayne, Russ Millions, Hardy Caprio & MoStack (Bourgess won the A&R Trailblazer Award at MBW’s UK-focused A&R Awards in 2018.). Lunick was then offered an opportunity to run his own record label with Sony Music Entertainment, the prestigious title of Co-managing Director at Dream Life Records / Sony Music UK. Lunick ran the record label for 3 years before starting his own publishing company called “Umbrella Songs Publishing”. Since founding umbrella Songs, Lunick has signed an exciting roster of songwriters including platinum selling artists such as S1mba, Switch OTR, Buni (who was featured on the UK’s first No.1 Drill record “Body” with Russ Millions and Tion Wayne as well as platinum selling producers Sonzi (Ed Sheeran, WizKid, Dave, Skepta, Gazo, Tiakola) and CZR Beats (Pop Smoke, Tion Wayne, Luciano, DigDat).
